During design we focused not only on speed but also on cabin comfort and ergonomics, low cost of ownership and long range. Shape excellence

The airplane shape was designed and optimized with respect to the best possible aerodynamic characteristics. Controllability, stability, speed and excellent flight characteristics were the main objectives in designing the airplane shape. It is obvious at the first sight, that these objectives were successfully met.

Two models

The VUT 100 Cobra will be available in two versions differing by the power units. The VUT 100-120i is equipped with a Lycoming IO-360-A1B6 (200HP) and mt-propeller MTW-12. The VUT 100-131i is equipped with a Lycoming IO-580-B1A (315HP) and the mt-propeller MTV-9.

Low cost of ownership

An integral part of our airplane design is reaching the lowest possible costs from the ownership point of view. From the very beginning we designed the VUT100 Cobra to enable easy and fast access to those parts of the airframe which require inspections and maintenance. The number of nodes which require inspections and adjustment were minimized. Operating the airplane in a mode without overhauls means considerable decrease of inspection and maintenance costs and therefore reduction of ownership costs.

Airframe structure

Our development team of highly qualified professionals designed a light and strong top quality airframe from traditional material - duralumin. This modern structure was designed using the latest 3D design systems and optimized from the strength point of view by FEM methods. The result of this approach is a robust, strong, corrosion-resistant and at the same time a very light structure of a new generation which ensures comfort and safety, long life of airframe, easy and low-cost maintenance.
