Garmin GNS 430 - COMM/NAV/GPS

The GNS 430 is an intgrated COMM/NAV/GPS unit with large color display. The GNS 430 continues in Garmin tradition of easy use operating software. Logic prevails to make sense of massive amounts of pilot-specific data.

COMM receiver - 760 channels, frequency range 118 MHz to 136.975 MHz

VOR receiver - identifier, city/state, facility name, co-located DME/TACAN, magnetic variation, weather broadcast

NDB receiver - identifier, city/state, facility name, lattitude, longitute, weather broadcast

GPS receiver - 12 parallel chanel receiver, up to 1000 user-defined waypoint, up to 20 reversible flight plans (each up to 31 waypoints), data on airports (identifier, city/state, facility name, attitude, longitute, approach information, control) and intersections

Garmin GNC 420 - COMM/GPS

The GNC 420 is an integrated COMM/GPS unit with large easy-to-use and easy-to-read color display. Pilot can monitor his flight plan by watching on screen text and graphics.

The COMM and GPS features are same as the GNS 430.

Garmin GNC 250XL - COMM/GPS

The GNC 250XL is an integrated COMM/GPS unit with large easy-to-read display. Pilot can monitor his flight plan by watching on screen text and graphics. The GNC 250 XL is very economic option for second GPS/COMM unit.
