EVEKTOR-AEROTECHNIC INTRODUCED THE SPORTSTAR MAX WITH ROTAX 914 TURBO AT EAA AIRVENTURE IN OSKOSH
The SportStar MAX Turbo powered by Rotax 914 UL was introduced by Evektor at Ohskosh AirVenture in USA. The turbocharged Rotax 914 elevates the SportStar MAX performance to an even higher level. Outstanding rate of climb 1 320 ft/min, shortened take off distance and absolute ceiling up to 28 850 ft give flying in mountainous areas a new dimension. The first airplane was delivered to Canada early July.
Turbo version is available also for the EuroStar SL.

SportStar MAXTHE SPORTSTAR MAX GAINED EASA PERMIT TO FLY
Evektor-Aerotechnik delivered first two SportStar MAX airplanes with EASA Permit to Fly. Both airplanes were delivered to customers from Germany; further orders for the SportStar MAX for European customers are under production. EASA Permit to Fly enables to European customers to operate the SportStar MAX with PPL licence, on 600 kg MTOW and non-commercial pilot training.

Evektor-Aerotechnik celebrates 40 years of aircraft production
Forty years ago, in 1970 the Aerotechnik company was established as a manufacturer of a small General Aviation airplanes, starting with L-13 Vivat motorglider. Today Evektor-Aerotechnik is one of the world´s largest manufacturers of advanced UL and LSA airplanes with fleet 950+ airplanes operated in flight schools and by private individuals in more than 40 countries across the world. EuroStar SL/SLW and SportStar MAX new luxury interior with superior cockpit comfort
Evektor long-term experience in car interior designs has become a base for the new luxury interior with superior cockpit comfort of the EuroStar and SportStar models that set up the new benchmark in comfort of the UL / LSA airplanes on the market. The new interior that is available from now for new aircraft purchase orders will be presented on the SportStar MAX at coming Aero Friedrichshafen airshow.

The EuroStar SL is now available with range up to 920 km. Redesigned fuselage tank has 80 l fuel capacity and enable so 170 km longer range.

New comfort seats

New comfort seat for EuroStar SL / SLW and SportStar MAX!
The new comfort seats are available for the EuroStar SL / SLW and SportStar MAX. Seats have higher backrest with integrated head support, slot for seat belt guidance and higher thigh bolster. The backrest ist foldable for easy access to baggage compartment. New comfort seats are available also as a retrofit for previous EV-97 Eurostar and SportStar models.

Installation of Rotax 914 UL Turbo (115 hp)
The EuroStar SL / SLW and SportStar MAX can have installed the Rotax 914 UL Turbocharged engine. This option is interesting mainly for customers operating their aircraft in mountainous and hot areas with high airport altitudes. Weight difference to Rotax 912ULS is +9.4kg, engine TBO is 1 200 hours

The new EuroStar SLW with 600 kg MTOW, wing tanks & range 1300 km
At Aero Friderichshafen the Evektor introduced the latest evolution of its world wide popular EuroStar line that counts already over 900 airplanes operated in 40 countries worldwide. The new EuroStar SLW reflects expected changes in the European UL regulations. The aircraft airframe comes from EASA JAR-VLA certified pilot training airplane the Harmony and is designed for 600 kg MTOW; empty weight is kept at 296 kg in standard equipment configuration. Compared to EuroStar SL model, the EuroStar SLW has integral wing fuel tanks with double capacity, providing an amazing range up to 1300 km and increased baggage compartment. EuroStar great success at Aero 2009
Presentation of the EuroStar SL and EuroStar SLW at the biggest GA airshow in Europe - Aero 2009 in Friedrichshafen was a great success. After opening of the airshow the new EuroStar SLW received the German Type Certicate from hands of Chief of the German Aeroclub (DAeC). This important event was attended by aviation journalist from different countries and attracted also many customers interested in the new EuroStar SLW with 600 kg MTOW, wing tanks and range 1300 km.

According to official statistics of the German AeroClub (DAeC) the EuroStar SL was the best selling low wing UL aircraft in Germany in 2008. The aircraft is widely used by the German flight schools and aeroclubs for basic pilot training and glider towing as well as by private individuals for business travel and leisure flying.
